Dr. Schwantes was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin where he lived until attending the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, earning his Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Minnesota.
Ryan is dedicated to supporting hearing health and maximizing the quality of life for his patients through person centered care. He has a strong interest in the intersection of the diagnostic aspects of audiology and the ever-changing landscape of hearing aid technology, assistive listening devices, and custom hearing protection. Living in the Lower St. Croix Valley, he is glad to serve his fellow community members through meaningful audiologic care.
When not in the clinic, Ryan spends his time enjoying the seasons outdoors, fishing, cooking, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
